The Starter Service Kit is the entry point for corporate data centers that need a clear low-level design baseline before committing to a full infrastructure plan. It covers the first pass of rack layout, fiber routing, and power distribution for a single server hall or a dedicated cage area.

This kit is built around a specific context: you have a defined floor space, a known rack count, and a rough idea of the equipment that will sit in each row. What you lack is the structured blueprint that turns those assumptions into a document your installation team can follow. The kit delivers exactly that scope, nothing more.

What is included in the Starter Service Kit:

  • Rack elevation drawings with U-position assignments for each planned device
  • Fiber optic trunk routing between the main distribution frame and each row
  • Power circuit mapping with breaker allocation per rack
  • Cable tray and ladder path planning above the racks
  • Labeling scheme for ports, patch panels, and termination points

The kit is intentionally limited to one hall or one containment zone. If your facility spans multiple floors or includes a separate network operations room, the Guided Setup Option on the products page is the better fit. The Starter Service Kit works best when the boundary is clear and the team needs a working document rather than a multi-phase study.

Each deliverable comes as a layered CAD file plus a PDF set for field use. The drawings follow the same layer naming convention used across Expertlld projects, so if you later expand to the full low-level design package, the existing sheets integrate without rework.

He has overseen LLD packages for facilities ranging from 40-rack colocation suites to hyperscale server farms, and regularly reviews as-built documentation against design intent.
